Extension Program (Before and After School Care)

The Extension Program is designed as a service for parents who need additional before- and after-school care for children enrolled at Woodlands. Extension offers students opportunities for art activities, games, reading and outdoor play. Students decide which activities they would like to participate in. A nutritious snack is available during afternoon Extension.

Students are not permitted to bring toys or electronic devices (cell phones, e-readers, electronic music devices, etc.) from home, just as during the regular school day. Parents must follow check-in and check-out procedures when dropping off and picking up their children at Extension.

Extension is available only on school days and is not offered during school breaks, conferences days or staff development days

All students must be registered and prepaid before attending extension. Students who are not picked up at regular dismissal time are not registered and will not be allowed to attend.

Hours of Operation:

    Mornings: 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.

    Afternoons: 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Registration is required monthly and must be accompanied by full prepayment. No refunds or reimbursements will be provided for missed days.
